What is web hosting and web address? Why should I subscribe?

Web address is also known as domain name. It is the unique address for your website on the Internet. By providing the web address to your users, they can easily access your website. The web address has to be registered through a domain registration company, and the registration has to be renewed and paid every year.

Web hosting: The files and images of a website have to be stored in an online server after production. The server has to be safe and stable. You can rent the server from web hosting companies, and renew the contract every year.

1.Rental:

It’s like an unified Blog website, thousands of similar client websites rent a large scale platform system. After signing up, there is a management interface for you to manage your website content. Blog is a free to sign up commercial site that requires a rental fee.

Pro: You can promote your website through platform advertisement.

Con: All websites look alike, the visitors can not perceive the differentiations of your products or services. It is only good for presenting information, not improving company image.

2.Template:
You can choose your own style, but there will be many similar websites. It’s low cost website design, therefore, the designers won’t put in much effort in planning and design. They often use ready made templates to lower the costs of design and coding.

How long does it take to produce a website?

The time required to produce a website depends on the size of the website structure, required functions and completeness of materials. The time required is different for each case. The discussion and finalization of page layout design usually take most of the time. Once the layout is finalized and materials are complete, a website usually takes 15 to 30 working days to complete. If your website requires more pages, special functions or content upload system, additional time is required for programming. Usually it takes two months for website production.

What should I prepare if I would like to sign up for a website?

Please provide an example website or required product demonstration effects. If you don’t have a proper example website, you can still discuss with the project manager regarding the visual presentation and website structure. A contract will be signed after reaching mutual agreement.

  • 2.Company VI standard font: please provide a high resolution logo file, preferably vector files (AI, CDR) or transparent PNG files.

Why do we need to know your budget?

We can plan your website more effectively with an informed budget. To help us keep the cost within a reasonable budget for an ideal website, we hope customers can provide us with the budget range. All our quoted prices are open, and all charges are listed. It would be more effective and accurate for us to provide website planning and suggestions according to your budget. When customers want to have more website contents and functions with limited budget, we can still discuss with customers and help in adjusting the requirements to complete the project.

How do we know if the web design style and quality can live up to our expectations?
